Wisdom From The Coop
Who am I? Why am I here? Why is suffering a part of life? Wisdom from the Coop is a compilation of creative conversations about many of life’s questions. The host, Betsy Charles is a hip-hop dancing, Adidas wearing, veterinary radiologist who wants to change the world. She has a unique perspective on how to live, due to having walked through the valley of the shadow of death with her beloved late husband. The co-host, Clay Maranville, is a college kid who has benefited from having Betsy as a boss and mentor. He wants other young people to jump into the conversation, so they can consider what it means to live into who they are. Along the way, we will invite many others to share their perspectives on the questions we will ask. Everyone is welcome here! Bring your whole self into this space. We hope to create a community of connected people interested in exploring what it means to thrive.

Set your student loans, ramen, nature valley bars, and stack of books aside because we’re talking about college. There has been a shift in purpose of college from a tool that helps people learn to a piece of paper that says we are qualified in a certain field. College may not be for everyone and that is a good thing. The goal is to figure out what we were created to do and today we are going to talk about what it looks like to work hard while doing something that gives us purpose.
