David Edwards is an assistant boy's basketball coach at Austin High School in Austin, TX where he has helped lead the Maroons to playoff appearances the past two seasons. Dave is a National Board Certified Teacher who has spent the past 25 years coaching at all levels across the country, from youth through high school, and brings a unique perspective on high school coaching, player development and the role defense plays in winning championships. Throughout his career he has been passionate about using basketball to instill the importance of academics, attitude, effort and excellence in his student athletes both on and off the court.
