Jordan Anderson ‘22 sat down with T’wina Nobles, CEO and President of the Tacoma Urban League (TUL), to discuss TUL’s programs, mission, and response to both pandemics affecting our communities: COVID-19 and racism. She discusses how service has shaped her life, and how the Urban League cultivates equity, access, and empowerment for the Black community and other underserved groups in Tacoma.

 Sound Action: Beyond the Bubble shines a spotlight on the ways our community partners bring services and ideas to the South Sound and highlights how Loggers and other community members can be a part of their efforts. Join us for conversations to inspire, learn, and engage in leadership to solve local and global issues.
