• scandal: σκάνδαλον (skándalon): snare, trap; stumbling-block, offense
• Jesus scandalizes the religious leaders.
  1. He heals a man “full of leprosy” by touching him.
  2. He declares that He has forgiven the sins of a paralyzed man.
  3. He accepts the praise of crowds who welcome Him into Jerusalem as the promised Messiah.
