Saturday, September 5, 2026 — We'd Be Lyin' If We Said We Weren't Curious About the LION Dance 🙄
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Both cohosts found today's crossword easier than yesterday's, but just as entertaining. It featured some phenomenal clues, including those discussed on today's episode, but here are a few more to whet your appetite:
- 29A, European landmark whose name begins with an "A" in classical literature, ETNA (curious!)
- 1A, Made chitchat, SCHMOOZED (curiouser!!)
- 31A, Reduced price?, AMT (curiousest??)
We also have a poker aficionado set us straight on the question of poker rivers in today's listener mail.
You'll definitely want to check out all that, and you can do so, very easily, by clicking on the ol' play button, somewhere in the vicinity of where you are reading these words.
Show note imagery: Definitely not your typical African lions, doing the lion dance in Qinhuangdao, China.
