New episode out now! I had the privilege to sit down with rapper/punk rocker from the band Old City, Mr. Tr38cho! We discussed one of the most important hip-hop albums of all time: Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) by Wu-Tang Clan!

Also be sure to check out Tr38cho’s site for music and blog posts: https://tr38cho.com

Released back in 1993, Enter the Wu-Tang brought a grittiness to East Coast Hip-Hop that hadn’t been seen before. Featuring nine unique members, all with their own styles, personalities, and influences, Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album paved the way for a new wave of East Coast rappers to make their name: Nas, Biggie, Jay-Z, and Diddy to name a few.

With its raw production, Kung-Fu movie references and samples, and its twisted sense of humor, Enter the Wu-Tang was one of a kind and it changed the rap world forever.
