If you were to ask me “Robin, if there was only one thing I could do to turn struggle into strength and busy into results, what would it be?” I’d say this...

...work on you. Your inner core.

Do this and everything in your outer life follows automatically [because your exterior world is just a reflection of who you are].

This is what my new book The Wealth Money Can’t Buy is all about. Real wealth versus fake success. True winning versus spending your life climbing a mountain, only to find out at the end that it was the wrong one. You can order it now by clicking here.

How can you go out into the world and energize your team and inspire your customers and wow all witnesses in your exterior world if you're negative inside? So the first DNA of personal mastery is positivity. You want to develop a mindset of optimism. You want to develop a mindset of undefeatability. You want to think like an A player because if you're thinking like a B player, your results will be born of B thinking. The second DNA is bravery. Again, if you want to have grit in the marketplace, if you want to build a business and turn failure into freedom, if you want to be relentless in your performance, if you want to become an iconic producer, all of those exterior things come from an interior life built on bravery. So the second DNA of a world-class interior life is installing bravery. The third DNA. Ingenuity. If you have not done the interior work of personal mastery to separate yourself from an addiction to following the crowd, then you are going to do like everyone else does. If you haven't done that inner work to develop a sense of ingenuity, you're not going to be an original. You're going to care a lot about what people think. You are not going to have what I call reputational hardiness. I mean, if someone laughs at you and mocks you. you're not gonna stick to your vision, you're going to actually give up. You're actually going throw in the towel. And then you're gonna become a card-carrying member of mediocrity because you're thinking, behaving, delivering like everyone else around you. So the third DNA really is installing ingenuity into your interior hardwiring, a sense of originality, having the courage to think for yourself. I mean, that's what leaders do. They don't follow the crowd, they don't follow the herd, they think for themselves. And that's really hard. Why? because we are neurobiologically hardwired to do what everyone else is doing. Thousands of years ago, because of the mirror neuron system that's part of our brains, we automatically, subconsciously, did what everyone did.So if someone developed a new tool, we would mirror the new tool. If someone developed a new way of starting fire, we would do that automatically, and it allowed us to survive. But now we're living in the modern world, and subconsciously, We are doing on Instagram what everyone wants us to do. We're taking selfies the way everyone else wants us to take. We're wearing the shoes society and the media suggests we should wear. Like we're getting all of this messaging and hypnotization from the world around us. And because we're not thinking for ourselves, we are just doing what everyone else is doing. But you know this, to have the results only rare air producers have, you need to think and perform like only rare air producers think to perform. So the third DNA to install in terms of arriving at personal mastery is a sense of ingenuity. Which brings me to the fourth DNA for world class interior life, prosperity. I mean, if you want abundance, if you want wealth on the outside, if you want a gorgeous lifestyle on the outside, if you want to live in the rare-air of legendary, that begins within as well. I mean, society has got it backwards. The doorway to success swings inward, not outward. Those kinds of things are the byproduct of prosperity in your inner life. I mean, you want to develop a Mindset and a Heartset and a way of feeling and a way of being where you're radically generous. You wanna be so full within. It's almost like you have an inner well of generosity. You can't believe how happy you feel. You can't believe how good you feel about yourself because self-worth is way more valuable than net worth. And because of this interstate of prosperity, it is a DNA, because of this wired-in mindset of generosity, this heart that's overflowing with givingness, what happens? Your exterior life automatically follows because you give to your teammates. You give... ridiculous amounts of value to your customers through your products and the user experience that you create. You want to be a craftsperson of your work because you want to give and you work with love. You want to give to everyone around you. You go into a restaurant, you want to give to the server who is supposedly there to help you. You want to give to strangers on the street. You want to give to your marketplace. When it comes to your intimate relationships and your loved ones, you're all about giving in a monomaniacal way. If you can install the inner state of prosperity and generosity, you go out in the world and you become this force of nature. And because of your giving, and because of the energy that you're radiating, and because of the kind of human being that people feel you as, through the psychological concept of reciprocity, they wanna give back to you. And life becomes a perpetual state of magicalness, but it is stunning what happens when you wire in interior prosperity. When you care less about money and more about honoring yourself, honoring your creativity, honoring who you truly are, honoring your authenticity through personal mastery, the money takes care of itself. And then the final DNA to wire in for a world-class interior life is humanity. You know, if you want people to treat you well, let me ask you, do you treat yourself well? If you want people to respect you at work and out on the street and in your home life, do you respect yourself? If you want the world to listen to you, how much do you listen to your own instinct? If you want the world to adore you, have you wired in self-adoration? And that's not about being egotistical. Actually, it's about being ego-free. the more you can work on yourself to quiet the chattering voice of your ego, which is nothing more than the fear within you trying to express itself. The more you will walk out in the world and be fearless. And so the fifth DNA is a sense of humanity. I mean, work on developing wisdom and watch what happens to your performance. Work on developing the open-hearted compassion that is your true nature, and watch what happens to your relationships. And if your life is anything less than world-class on the outside, it's because of one core reason. Your interior life is not world-class. And so run these five DNAs. That is where the real work is to be done. Begins within.
