Any leader takes people to impossible places. And that very act is a very dangerous act because you'll scare the status quo and people who are clinging to the safe harbor of the known. And if you do something really powerful, like putout a really powerful piece of work, or piece of code, or book, or whatever it is, you're gonna have extreme reactions on either side. And if it's really innovative, you're gonna scare people.
