What a lot of people do is they fall into the snare of always being online, always being available, always answering their phone. Your technology should be your servant, not your master. On the Zero Device Day, do it once a week, do it for 24 hours, turn off all devices, and take your devices, especially your handheld, and put it in a place where you can't touch it. Maybe put a Post-It note and say, 24 hours away from this. put it in a little baggie, put it in your car trunk, but do this
every Friday or maybe it's every Saturday, maybe it's every Sunday, watch what happens. You will come back to work born anew. You will feel great. You will have so much energy, so much more creativity, and so much more productivity.
