I have a theory. It's not really about the things on your to-do list that are most important. It's really about the things you choose to stop doing. In my methodology, I call them your non-negotiables, your red lines. These are the things you say, I will stop doing these things. And I want you to write down three things you will stop doing. It could be overspending. It could be beating
yourself up with negative thoughts. Makes me think of Taylor Swift in her documentary Miss Americana. She said, I used to think so badly about myself and I would have these endless negative thoughts and she actually showed herself doing, she went, we don't do that anymore. When a negative thought came into her mind, she'd go, we don't do that anymore. It's very powerful to break the trance. Or your non-negotiable might be, you no longer compare yourself to
other people in your industry. because you understand that time spent focusing on what other people are doing is time stolen from you making your own dreams come true. Maybe something you'll stop doing is focusing on a difficult event in the past. Maybe something you'll stop doing is being on your device too long. Maybe something you will stop doing is eating sugar. Sugar is so dangerous, creates inflammation. Maybe something you'll stop doing is drinking alcohol. If you cut out alcohol and if you cut out a lot of sugar from your life and if you got out playing with your device all day long and if you cut out comparing yourself to other people and if you cut out worrying about the past, your life will absolutely transform and you'll start experiencing your richest life. So write down three things you are going to stop doing today and then hold yourself accountable to it so that you do it every day.
