Let things go. The past is gone. Let the past serve you. If someone hurts you, just remember they were doing the best that they knew how to do based on the consciousness level they were at. And as Maya Angelou once said, if they knew better, they would have done better. Forgiveness is an act you give yourself. You let them go and you let yourself move forward. And don't worry too much about the future. And I'm not saying don't script it. Don't write it down. Don't dream about the future. I'm not saying don't be prescient. One of my favorite words, prescient. You want to see what's coming in the future so you can anticipate it and seize opportunities and protect your family and have a plan B and a plan C and a plan D. That's what smart people do. Super smart people. The billionaires I have been mentoring, here's one of their dominant philosophies. It's better to be a year early than a day late. So they spend a lot of time planning and anticipating the future. But here is the real key. Once you've let go of the past, and once you have prepared yourself for contingencies of a future, live in the moment. Don't miss the simple graces of today. Have your feet fully planted in what's right in front of you.
