Our Troubles Are Actually Precious Friends, In Disguise

Robin Sharma Season 1 Episode 1217

As we advance through life, we will not only be visited by good fortune. Dangerous times will also make an appearance.

I’ve come to realize, as the years etch more notches on my belt, that troubles are actually precious friends, in disguise.

 They serve to…

 …help us make less mistakes.

…forge wisdom that can never leave us.

…show us how strong we are.

…melt away the toughness of arrogance.

…heal ancient wounds that are brought to the surface by present-day troubles.

My latest book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy” is full of fresh ideas and original tools that I’m absolutely certain will cause quantum leaps in your positivity, productivity, wellness, and happiness. You can order it now by clicking here.

Troubles bring fortune, not failure. I believe life works for your fortune, never for your failure. A bad day for the ego is a great day for the soul. Often something will happen to you and you'll say, ah, it's a really difficult time, but your trials come to install your triumphs. Personally, I have grown the most, whatever wisdom I have, whatever knowledge I have, so much of my own inner growth. It didn't come from my times on the mountaintop or standing in the sunshine. The vast majority of growth, wisdom, strength, true power, creativity came from my periods walking
confused and painfully in the valley of darkness. And only now when I look back, maybe after even a decade, I'll see, oh, that was my best worst experience. I'll say, hmm. Now I understand and I can connect the dots. Sonnen Kierkegaard said it very well, life cannot be understood looking forward, but you connect the dots looking backward.
