Listen Deeply [to x25 Your Personal and Professional Relationships]
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Listen intently. Many of my billionaire-level clients ask their small circle advisors for their input on a deal and then have the humility to listen to them deeply (almost all of them have a ritual of sleeping on the decision). But then, they trust their experience as well as their instincts and do what they wish to do. This makes them leaders (never followers).
My latest book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy” is full of fresh ideas and original tools that I’m absolutely certain will cause quantum leaps in your positivity, productivity, wellness, and happiness. You can order it now by clicking here.

The best communicators are all about listening, not talking. Listen deeply first. So let's say you're having a conversation with someone and you say, "Can we sit down and talk about something that's really important to me?" Tell the person initially what you want to talk about, what's bothering you. And then have the wisdom to listen deeply right after that. Because the larger idea is really this. When you listen to another human being from the fullness of your presence, it's one of the high acts of honoring another human being. You want your teammates to grow? Listen to them. You want your children to open up in their love for you, their self-confidence? Listen to them. You want to build a culture of high performers? Stop talking so much and get brilliant at listening deeply.
