Keep moving forward. When you look at the best performers in the world, let's say the violinists, the great managers, the great entrepreneurs, the great mothers, the great fathers, the great human beings, the great humanitarians, it really wasn't their natural talents. You know, I'm just trying to remind you with great respect that is such a hypnosis and seduction that society sells us, that the great producers are somehow genetically gifted. They're not. One of their qualities is they just did not give up. You stumble? Hey, great. There's no way you can produce world-class products without stumbling and failing the competition. If you get laughed at and ridiculed because you've got a new idea that you're executing on, hey, fantastic. They laugh at all the great ones. You get knocked down and bloodied in a relationship? Hey, failure is the price of ambition. You make a so-called mistake? in front of your customer or maybe it's in front of a teammate, guess what? A mistake is only a mistake if you choose to see it as a mistake. In truth, it's an opportunity to grow and gain experience that will allow you to get to your next level of world class. So no matter how many times you get bloodied as you pursue your leadership vision, no matter how many times you get knocked down, please remember, the only failure in many ways is the failure to try. And what makes a victim is You sort of reach for your greatness and you give up. And what makes a leader is no matter how many times you get knocked down, you keep moving forward.
