The number of Americans living with Alzheimer's disease is growing — and growing fast. An estimated 5.5 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's disease. Is there a veggie that you should be eating now that can help in prevention or management of the disease? Alzheimer's disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. People with Alzheimer's or other dementias have twice as many hospital stays per year as other older people. You or someone you know will probably be affected by this disease.
