Dr. Samantha Battams is an author of historical non-fiction books and non-fiction/fiction short stories, a public health academic and consultant in the health/community sector.
Her first non-fiction historical 'true crime' book is due for release in December 2018 and is about Martha Needle, The Richmond Poisoner.
Samantha is also an Associate Professor (academic status) and as a university lecturer and researcher in public health and global health, has been a passionate advocate for public health. She is currently mental health special interest group co-convenor of the Public Health Association of Australia.
