In this week's pod we review Guy Richie's latest offering The Gentlemen. On the whole, we liked it. But Guy might like to skip the middle section... Highlights include:
- Paul questions (Geordie) Charlie Hunnam's Geordie accent.
- Amit submits an essay-like written review which makes very little sense.
- Henry pans the film but curiously professes to love Lock Stock and Snatch. Hmmmm.
- Shannon likens to fight porn scene to The Powerpuff Girls, whoever they are.
- Chris and Joe argue over the merits of the Kingsman films.
- Dave rants about the dangers of legalising cannabis.
- The lads recommend some top Netflix viewing, including: Challenger: The Final Flight (Henry), The Social Dilemma (Chris), Criminal - United Kingdom (Paul), Fargo (Shannon) and Knock Down The House (Chris).
- Joe (acting experience: walk-on part in Year 6 school play) offers his services to Guy Richie. He'll call you, Joe.
- Chris smashes the Lock Stock film quiz. Henry, despite being on the Wikipedia page, scores nil points.
Next week's film is First Man (Netfilx). Ryan Gosling is in it so your missus will want to watch it too.
