Teagan McMeekin

Kendall MacMillan shares her two pregnancy and birth stories on this episode of Moony Birth Stories.  Kendall's first pregnancy was easy and without complication until her blood pressure registered higher than usual at around 34 or 35 weeks pregnant.  This unexpected increase in her blood pressure began the whirlwind that Kendall didn't see coming.  She talks about how she went from double-checking her blood pressure at a pharmacy to being admitted to the hospital and told she would have to deliver that night, resulting in a NICU stay.  Years later, she got pregnant with their second child and her issues with blood pressure showed up much earlier; right at the beginning of pregnancy.  She shares how this issue was managed throughout this pregnancy and how it ultimately developed into a syndrome called HELLP.  She opens up about the resulting anxiety and OCD that she developed during this pregnancy.  This baby, too, was born early and required a stay in NICU.
