Women over 50 have always done it tough in the job market. We are underemployed, we get paid less and we generally occupy less senior roles within organisations. The COVID19 pandemic has just thrown this problem into much sharper relief. We women experienced more job loss and underemployment in 2020 and 2021, and are now having great difficulty getting work, despite signs of economic recovery.
