Although people make jokes about it, a weak pelvic floor is no laughing matter. It leads to things like incontinence, prolapse and other problems. By the time we women of a certain age are 50, 50% of us will have some pelvic floor weakness, and the percentage rises with age. But even though the problem is common, we women don’t really want to talk about it. We have shame.
All we have to do is admit we need help and help will be on its way. In this episode we talk with physiotherapist Penny Hanlon who has made pelvic floor health a life study. Her mission is to help you learn how to strengthen our pelvic floor for a happier, healthier life.
