On this episode of Meanwhile Back On The Podcast, It's another edition of Dead in Development, that's right listeners. It's the long awaited conclusion to our breakdown of Justice League Mortal. The George Miller lead Justice League movie that never made it to photography! The famed director of Mad Max fame, had the script, the players, costumes, locations etc. And then a combination of financing challenges, the famed writers strike of 2007-2008. And some believe it was none of those things and that DC & Warner Bros. Simply Put a kibosh on production because they saw no need for another version of Batman after the incredible re-imagining of the world's greatest detective in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight. Well, no one can say for sure, but it was one hell of a script that was largely adapted from one of he greatest Justice League stories of all time, from one of the greatest Justice League creative teams of all time.
