evaluations,"},{"startTime":491.29,"endTime":495.661,"body":"that the researchers and the doctors"},{"startTime":495.661,"endTime":497.463,"body":"at Columbia University took a five minute"},{"startTime":497.463,"endTime":500.333,"body":"look at Michael and said,"},{"startTime":497.463,"endTime":500.333,"body":"we think it's Newman pick type C."},{"startTime":500.333,"endTime":501.934,"body":"And I said, why's that?"},{"startTime":501.934,"endTime":504.237,"body":"And they said, be cut for two reasons."},{"startTime":504.237,"endTime":506.506,"body":"One is he having a large flame."},{"startTime":506.506,"endTime":508.374,"body":"And he had this eye movement problem."},{"startTime":509.509,"endTime":512.512,"body":"And the eye movement problem is,"},{"startTime":509.509,"endTime":512.512,"body":"is something that's pretty"},{"startTime":512.512,"endTime":518.05,"body":"indicative of type C children"},{"startTime":512.512,"endTime":518.05,"body":"lose their ability to, move their eyes"},{"startTime":518.05,"endTime":521.754,"body":"left and right and up and down,"},{"startTime":518.05,"endTime":521.754,"body":"as the disease progresses."},{"startTime":522.488,"endTime":526.792,"body":"So we brought Michael back to Tucson"},{"startTime":522.488,"endTime":526.792,"body":"and had him tested for the disease,"},{"startTime":526.792,"endTime":531.197,"body":"which required a skin biopsy,"},{"startTime":526.792,"endTime":531.197,"body":"and a spinal tap."},{"startTime":531.764,"endTime":537.303,"body":"And it showed that he had a storage"},{"startTime":531.764,"endTime":537.303,"body":"disorder and most likely Nieman Pit."},{"startTime":537.803,"endTime":541.44,"body":"So we had our other three children tested,"},{"startTime":537.803,"endTime":541.44,"body":"and much to our just believe,"},{"startTime":541.44,"endTime":545.311,"body":"our two girls also showed up positive"},{"startTime":541.44,"endTime":545.311,"body":"with the disorder.
