You're listening to English vocabulary practice with Dialogue Frog. So, I've got a bone to pick with you. Uh-oh! What'd I do? Well, you said that we could go to the natural history museum, but we haven't gone yet. Oh yeah! I forgot that you wanted to do that. Mm. I want to see all the dinosaurs and the, um, fossils. They do have a lotta cool stuff there, I've heard. So they have, they do have, like you said, they have the different dinosaur bones and various fossils, but they also have, uh, not extinct animals. So it's like taxidermy. I don't know that if cool is the right word, but it's an interesting way, uh, to kind of learn about the different animals in the area. Uh-huh. They do have some living st- living animals there too, you know? Oh yeah? Yeah. You might not like it though, 'cause you know what it is? What? They have a swarm of bees. Huh! Oh no. Yeah. So, they like, they have a co- like a bee colony that lives in, on one of the floors I've heard. And so, you can go and you can like look in to what it's like for the bees, like inside their hive and see how the bees live and, and make honey and, and build the honeycomb. So, that's what all the buzz is about. That's all the buzz is about. I think that also, um, the, that the museum also has, um, some, I guess it's a geology, um, exhibits. So if you wanna see different types of rock, um, some that are natural to the area, I think they have lots of, of different ones of those. So that if you're out and about, you're like at the, or something, or if you see like places where they're, they're building roads and they've cut into the rock, you can kind of be like,'Oh! That's that kind of limestone!' or it's 'Oh! That's that kind of granite!' or something like that. Different types of rock. So, you can learn how to identify the nature around you. I always take my geology for granted. A ha! Isn't that gneiss? Haha. G-rock jokes. I remember though, as a kid going to the natural history museum. Did you go when you were a kid? I did. Yeah. It's been a while. You should definitely go again. Let's plan for that maybe... It's a good thing to do during the summer because it's air conditioned. Yeah. And so you can go to the museum as something to do in the summer. Yep. Let's plan on that. Just don't step into the tar pits. I don't think they have those there. Maybe have an exhibit?
