This is Dialogue Frog's English conversations. So, errands. What about errands? Um, I guess how often do you have to do them? How often do I run errands? Yeah. Probably at least once a week, right? What about you? Yeah. Um, I have a few tasks once a day that I have to do. I guess, what encompasses an errand? So, what's the difference between an errand and a chore? Yeah. I think an errand usually means you leave the house and you're doing-. Oh.-Something outside of the house. I see. But a chore is something you're doing in the house for the house or for yourself within the house. Gotcha. So for me, for today, for example, I ran a ton of errands. I, what did I do? I had to get gas. Uh huh. I went to, uh, the department store to return some items. Mm hm. That I had bought that I didn't want anymore. Did I already say I went to the gas station? You did. I only went to the gas station once. Um, oh! I got a carwash cause my car was so dirty on the outside, I couldn't stand it. Yeah. In between there, I went to the coffee shop, which, maybe going to get coffee isn't an errand, but if you really need coffee, it can feel like an errand. Ah, and then what did I do? Oh, and then I went grocery shopping. And I went to the bank. Wow! Yeah. That's a pretty full, full list there. It was a lot of errands. Yeah. So yeah. I don't much care for errands. They take a lot of time. Yeah. Yep. They feel good once you get them done. That's true. Well, this has been Dialogue Frog's English conversations. For transcripts and vocabulary lists.
