Show Notes

The psychologist, Dan Allender once wrote "if we don’t tell our stories, our stories will tell us. Our stories impact us either unconsciously or consciously. It’s up to us to decide whether we’ll be passive recipients or active agents in the shaping of our lives.” In this episode, we have none other than the king of chai & storytelling, @crossculturechristian, Kevin Wilson, to help us learn how we can explore, own, and honor our individual stories.  As he shares reflections on his story, be sure to find profound and relatable gems that you can apply to your own life and take action on today!

Kevin Wilson is a youth and young adult pastor at the Oceanside SDA Church who is passionate about helping people think meaningfully about life so that they can live their lives meaningfully. He describes himself as a “third-culture-kid” who grew up in Sri Lanka, Oman, and the United States. When he’s not ministering to his congregation, he spends time nurturing a growing tribe of 220K+ chai-loving friends across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, by using chai as a medium for storytelling. He currently lives in San Diego, married to his best friend of 10 years and his fur-children Phoebe and Leo.
