Exodus 5:5-18 Evil power hates being challenged. And the innocent pay for it.

Today we meet God in Exodus, chapter five, verses five through 18. When evil people are in power, they fear anything that challenges their authority, and oftentimes they punish those who do. In todays passage, the children of Israel are given impossible demands by a fearful leader who hates the idea of anyone receiving glory besides him.
