Today we meet God in Exodus, chapter six, verses six through nine. Today's passage is the story of my life, particularly verse nine. God can tell us all of these wonderful things that he's about to do for us, but we don't want to hear it because maybe we've heard it before, or it's been too long now. The difficulties of life have made us deaf to the promises of God. We've grown tired and our spirits are broken. But the thread through the book of Exodus is God's power and his love. No matter how we feel, he'll still do what he said, and he'll heal us where we hurt.
