Courtney Weber: Brigid, Tarot, and Trouble
Aug 06, 2020 Season 1 Episode 8

Courtney Weber has been practicing Witchcraft since her teens and is the author of several books. My favorite of these is Brigid: History, Mystery, and Magick of the Celtic Goddess, most likely because I too am a Brigid devotee. Courtney's Tarot for One: The Art of Reading for Yourself is one of the best tarot books I've ever read and I highly recommend it.  Courtney has also written books on The Morrigan (which was released in late 2019) and the upcoming Hekate: Goddess of the Witches in 2021.

In addition to writing, Courtney also reads Tarot professionally and even put together her own Tarot deck, the Tarot of the Boroughs, a contemporary photographic Tarot deck set in New York City. She's also one of the hosts of That Witch Life with Hilary Whitmore and Kanani Soleil, having guested on their podcast I can tell you it's pretty fabulous.

Courtney is one of the best people I know in the world, and we chat about goddesses, tarot, and the differences between living in Oregon and New York City in this episode.
