Welcome to “No Stones to Throw”, the Sunday morning message from John Roy, pastor at Pelham Road Church in Greenville, South Carolina.

Throwing stones was an ancient way to react to the brokenness in the world. Jesus was given opportunities to “throw stones” and he passed.  Jesus was the messenger offering new opportunities not judgement for yesterday’s choices. So we join Jesus---we have no stones to throw, only grace to share.  Welcome.

Today we hope you'll be uplifted by the message from Dr. Caren Silvester as she takes a fresh look at Psalm 23.

Dr. Caren Salter Silvester is a retired professor of Renaissance literature. For almost 45 years she taught Shakespeare and Milton, as well as courses in ancient literature, modern poetry and drama, and the Bible as literature, at Bob Jones University. She and her husband, Sid (also a retired English professor), are blessed with a daughter and son-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren, all of whom they enjoy spending time with at the beach.
