Today, Megan Strait shared the story of her faith journey. From growing in the faith since a child to a life event that shook her faith and caused her to really consider if God was faithful and good. She knew she didn't want to cling to a faith that wasn't genuine. She felt that a real faith should stand the scrutiny of intense circumstances. This is her story of how God patiently waited on her.
Jesus' teaching in Mark 13 is jammed with things that only bring up more questions. Actually, that is what Jesus is responding to -- the disciple's questions about things to come. Today we were pleased to have Kevin Sweigard share his testimony. Being saved from an early age he has grown up in the faith and around the church. As he says, at one time in his life he was doing ministry multiple nights every week! What is great about Kevin's story is he is honest about his plateaus, his misgivings and what he has learned about continuing in his faith. Maybe his story will encourage you in your walk with Jesus!
This morning, we hear from Daniel Czmar as he shares his story of God pursuing him and how he eventually stopped running. He shares the great difference God has made in his life and the new direction He has charted for him.
