What better time to try to talk to people than when one of Claremont's favorite rock 'n roll bands - The Ravelers - is tearing it up on-stage? Claremont speaks took the opportunity to catch people in a festive and relaxed moment to hear what they thought about the 4th of July parade, party/celebration and the Ravelers' concert - which was the usual smashing success. CS was fortunate to speak with:
Char - providing some perspective on displaying the flag and how things would improve if people were much less divided.
Paul and Linda - offered some opinions on Larkin Place and other events and issues in Claremont, where they have lived for over 4 decades.
Kimmie - talking about - and recuperating from - her Claremont 5K run...with a heapin' helpin' of the Kiwanis Finest Barbecue fare.
Alma - offering constructive input on what she'd like to see to make Claremont even better than it already is.
Enjoy this short first episode - More July 4th Al Fresco to come.
...and think about what you'd like to say if/when Claremont Speaks offers you the opportunity to speak your mind. It could happen...
