Slow Bible
The Slow Bible (with Mary Spencer) is an invitation for us to sit back and spend time praying with the Word of God, to soak in the Scriptures and in the presence of God. It is a precious break from the busyness of life. It’s a form of an ancient contemplative practice: Lectio Divina. These Latin words just mean “divine reading” - always brought with stillness, with contemplation, with repetition, and with a slow reading, creating space for the Holy Spirit to speak; Read, Reflect, Respond, Rest

Matthew 14:19-21
New Living Translation
19 Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people. 20 They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers. 21 About 5,000 men were fed that day, in addition to all the women and children!
