Advent - Week 4: Love
In this fourth week of Advent, Discipleship Pastor Jennifer Davis is joined by young adults Mackenzie Knowles and Caleb Davis to talk about love—the kind that looks like Jesus, not just a feeling.
They share stories from their recent mission trip to Albania with Child Evangelism Fellowship, helping distribute Christmas gift boxes and run programs for kids across the country. In a place where many children have little support—and few people know Jesus—simple things like learning names, showing kindness, and being fully present became a loud message: you are seen.
Using John 13:34–35 and John 15:13, they reflect on love as both a witness and a sacrifice—choosing to lay down comfort so others can experience Christ. The takeaway is practical: you don’t need a passport to live on mission. Love like Jesus, intentionally, right where you are.
