Reflections & Learnings from the Pacific Northwest Response to COVID-19
Show Notes

More than two years into the ongoing global pandemics of COVID-19, systematic racism, and environmental degradation, the nonprofit and other mission-driven organizations in the Pacific Northwest have worked hard to turn adversity into opportunity. What has worked and what could we do better? What lessons can we all learn to inform the next challenge/s?

The new Yale Alumni Network Alliance Pacific Northwest Chapter, moderated by Sandra Medrano ‘15, engaged in a deep and insightful conversation with environmental conservation leader Nick Hardigg ’99 SOM, communications, engagement, and events professional and small business owner Emee Pumarega ‘95, and capacity builder and social justice advocate Allie Yee ’19 SOM to talk about how their organizations have adapted to the changing environment, provide practical tips for how to pivot when the unexpected happens and make predictions about how organizations may need to continue to evolve in the future. Each panelist shared personal and work stories with candid insight into what they, their organizations, and their clients have been struggling with over the past few years, and the successes they are grateful to embrace.

Join us for compelling discussions about best practices, trends, and careers in the social impact space.
