Advancing Educational Success for Under-Resourced Students & How You Can Help" Webinar
Jan 20, 2022
Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance

Join us for a conversation about how we advance the success of under-resourced students. How do we define educational success? What challenges exist at each juncture along the educational journey -- entering college, as an undergraduate, and post-collegiate -- and how are higher ed academic institutions providing resources and services to support success and ensure students are prepared to accomplish their current and future academic, personal, and professional goals?

We will hear from a current student, recent grad, and two professionals working at nonprofits whose work uses various approaches to respond to the needs and challenges in this space. We also hope to highlight actionable opportunities for further engagement.

SPEAKERS:

  • Ellie Dupler ‘16 (recent alum), Fulbright and Truman Scholar; Law clerk, US Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit
  • Nick Randos ‘23 (current undergrad)
  • Liana Epstein ‘14, Associate Major Gifts Officer, American Indian College Fund
  • Lise Pfeiffer Chapman ‘81, President, 1stGenYale

Moderated by Seth Zimmerman MA '10 M.Phil ‘11 PhD ‘14, Associate Professor of Economics, Yale School of Management
