Show Notes

We've been lied to.

Not just by our goverment agencies and health care providers, ETC., but by the church that is supposed to foster in us a close relationship with the One and Only Redeemer of the human race, Jesus Christ.

If you are just now waking up to the truth of this, our discussion today will make sense. For those that don't get it yet and are perfectly content with the way the church at large is operating, know we have only begun to broach the subject here.

Regardless, at some point we will all see in the light that has been turned on for exposure to what God can not tolerate.

Today my friend Terri Sullivant gives some practical advice for navigating the humanness of the church. Always practical, Terri discusses the realities of living in a broken world as it relates to our gatherings.

Coming together in worship is always worth the risk of running up against uncomfortable issues. That having been said, if we understand the Holy Spirit as our guide and endeavor to grow a relationship with Him without interference, the humans that have previously been filters or even idols in God's place, no longer matter and their own brokenessness is unable to hurt us.

We still need guides in life to assist us in our reasoning, but none should come before our personal, intimate encounters with our Jesus.
