Show Notes

Light is where you’ll find truth; truth is where you’ll find color.

Color is where you’ll find God.

Color is God.

It’s his love for you.

Color is being assured of who God is, which in turn, assures us of who we are. Knowing we are gifted with sacred purpose and encouraged to an abundant life by a God who loves us in color, empowers us to take advantage of all he has given us to work with and walk through.

Color is RESPONSE.

Because color is truth, even when we don’t know what that is.

Though there is darkness and shadow, it still exists. Just because we can't see it doesn't render it non-existent.

We all go through trials. Suffering is part of the human condition. THIS truth doesn’t negate the rest of it: That we are gifted with dynamic purpose, wired to help others find theirs. We were destined to this good work before we were even born! God foreknew this for us.

He never meant for us to stay in our darkness, our pain.  He meant for us to shine brilliantly.

There we are able to paint our pain into platform.

Our guest today was raised in a unique environment that initially kept her from realizing her true potential. Her upbringing by a mother who suffered from schizophrenia only brought her shame and stigma.

Like so many of us, Cecile was held captive by her secret.

Shame and stigma thrive in secret.

And when the secret is mental illness, we are often more bound to keep it hidden. Sanity is one of God’s blessings we may be forgetful to be grateful for.

But our God is bigger than all that comes against us. And he often wants us to talk about it. Talking about it is how we overcome it, according to Cecile Bibawy. Silence can cultivate shame.

Author of a riveting book entitled LOVING HER MIND, Cecile is an author, teacher and speaker who resolved to escape her trappings by opening up about the realities of living in an environment of psychosis.

I hope you will stay connected with us today to hear Cecile’s amazing story of triumph! I hope you will feel encouraged by her resolve not to stay quiet!

No matter what you are struggling with today, understand that through God, your shame can be turned into splendor!

Your guilt can be made good.

Gladness may be found in the Glory!
