Join Shaner as he dives down the rabbit hole of the French fairy tale Blue Beard. He was completely unaware of this tale previously and discovers the horrific murder of seven wives. In this episode, he provides a reading of the fairy tale, explores the literary and psychoanalytical interpretations. He dives down further into the influence of the tale such as the Grimm Brothers story, "Blaubart" and Dickens's "Captain Murderer".
