Through the sharing of personal experiences and conversations with industry experts, we can collaboratively support one another and increase our consideration for the personal wellbeing of those around us. Your host, Bill Krieger, is the Veterans Affairs Program Manager at Consumers Energy. He is also a Military Veteran and retired Army Captain with 21 years of service. Bill is also a member of the company’s Wellbeing Committee and Veterans Advisory Panel. The podcast sponsor, Consumers Energy, is Michigan’s largest energy provider of natural gas and/or electricity to 6.8 million of the state’s 10 million residents in all 68 Lower Peninsula counties. In 2020, as the pandemic was unfolding, the company realized the need to share wellbeing messages with its co-workers, retirees, and customers. It was in June of that year Me You Us aired its first episode.

The VFW National Home was founded in 1925 to give shelter and aid to the widows and orphans of WWI. Today the Home continues to honor this legacy by helping active-duty, reservist, and veteran families get back on their feet .
