Here's another Blast from The Past PERFECT for the time that we're in!

What if the biggest threat to your character is not what you do, but what you choose not to see? We open with a challenge that cuts through noise and timelines: there is a world outside your window, and your life is already connected to it. When we treat homelessness, domestic violence, and suffering in our own communities as “not my problem,” we do not stay neutral, we quietly train ourselves to step over people in need.

We get personal about homelessness in America, including how easy it is to dismiss pain as a statistic, and why “percentage points” are still someone’s family. Then we share lived experiences of being homeless twice: the humiliation of suddenly needing help, the shock of being judged by people who once felt like friends, and the terror of a fire that made seven families lose their homes overnight. That moment also exposes something deeper, the surprising places compassion can come from, and how quickly “their choices” become your emergency.

From there we turn to the way social media can become a twisted kind of hiding place. We ask why we post safe content when things are calm but disappear when justice and responsibility show up. With the story of Adam hiding and the poem “No Enemies,” we explore a tough idea: if you have no enemies and no friction, is it because you are living peacefully, or because you are avoiding the fight that matters?

If you want an honest conversation about human responsibility, empathy, moral courage, and practical service, press play. Subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review with one action you are willing to take this week.
