Today I welcome Dominique Appleton on to the show. I met Dom earlier this year when I was recruiting a HR Assistant position. Now she is settled into her role I asked if she’d come on to share her story as I feel it’s of real benefit for those who are trying to get into a HR as a career.
Dom has huge likability factor. However, what stands out most is her mindset to attack difficult circumstances head on as she knows that although they will take her outside of her comfort zone, the experience and development she will get will be invaluable. She is an absolute superstar and I believe that anyone currently trying to get that first HR position can take some insights away from hearing Dom tell her tale.
