Today my guest is Sarah Marrow. Sarah asked if she could come on and share her story as she’s currently in a position that none of my previous guests have been as Sarah recently started her own HR Consultancy business.
Originally having studied a Law degree, Sarah chose a different vocation but went into HR via a very different route. Her career took another turn when she decided to follow her heart and for a couple of years working in HR contract roles over the summer months and at ski resorts over the winter.
Sarah has worked for some high profile businesses, including KPMG, Barclays Bank, Rolls Royce and Thomas Cook. Equipped with all the experience she has gained along the way, she launched her own business earlier this year providing strategic HR consulting, outsourced HR and coaching interventions to a wide range of organisations.
Sarah’s is a very unorthodox HR career story but I know many of you will find it a fascinating one to hear.
