13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
WE HAVE ALL COME TO THOSE HARD PLACES IN LIFE, WHEN WE MAY HAVE FELT LIKE WE WEREN’T GOING TO MAKE IT; WHETHER IT’S LOSING A LOVED ONE, FACING A FINANCIAL CRISIS, A HEALTH CHALLENGE OR RUNNING A MARATHON. IT SEEMED AS IF THE ODDS WERE AGAINST US. BUT SOMEHOW, WE HELD ON TO GOD. WE HELD ONTO JESUS CHRIST AND HIS WORD. WE DIDN’T GIVE UP. WE KEPT PRESSING ON, PERHAPS WITH TREMBLING HEART AND HANDS BUT WE HELD ON AND GOD BROUGHT US THROUGH.
FOR MANY OF US, THAT WAS OUR CONVERSION POINT; I KNOW IT WAS FOR ME! THE POINT WHERE WE MET GOD FOR OURSELVES AND PROVED THAT HE IS REAL AND FAITHFUL.
