Episode starts with a rarily used trailer by mentor and teacher Rainer Wallraf (in English for Popmundial), an icon for POPMUNDIAL, did a lot for me, Yours the producer, and for Popmundial

Rainer and me, were the first to present:

The American Songbook, Rainer loved so much: George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter aso. The American Songbook, the crooners, the melodic jazz Pioneers.

But don't forget, Rainerle, for me, you, the audience in Radio, always remembered: there's the composer and the lyrics!!!  It's Evita by Andrew Llyod Webber and Michael Kunze (Vienees  version by Peter Weck)

At the beginning of this podcast, I introduce a trailer presented by Rainer, produced by Yours Truely, it is rarel  rarely used: because Showtime Europe was to become Euroshowtime and later in 1999 Popmundial Radio.

Music-wise:

I thought a lot of what to present?

You hear a very RARE Fred Astaire , tapping, singing, presenting  himsel  in a rare tv concert, later some original clips from his films, ending with two of his ever last recordings, recorded in London.

Happy listening!

Rainer knew all and was my teacher.
