-- Remove those tentative statements by omitting words of doubt such as “I think”, rather say “this is the solution”
-- Be specific in your word choice by saying, “Friday is the deadline”, rather than, “I need it ASAP”
-- Provide people with resources after a meeting to go back to, this helps with retaining information
-- Ask people who don’t think like you to give you feedback, you need this to make improvements
-- If you want to be known as a role model, you have to be bold, take that next step in action
-- Communicate with power. Every time you remain silent, that means that this situation could happen again.
