Hard to believe Helix started back in 1974 as "The Helix Field Band". As 50 years is fast approaching Founder/Singer and CEO Brian Vollmer continues to forge ahead with new music! The bands latest EAT, SLEEP and ROCK is out now! a song co-written by Sean Kelly (Who has played with pretty much every Canadian Rock band --BTW check out his book too "Metal on Ice")
Brian and Shane chat about the beginnings with "ROCK YOU" the bands first hit to hit MTV and MuchMusic in 1984 and of course "DEEP CUTS THE KNIFE" from Long Way to Heaven album in 1985. Mike Stone over Mutt Lang, Tug O War and the fact HELIX has had more than 30 members in the band over the years.
