The Ramblings of an Insomniac
Can’t sleep? Neither can I! This podcast is a peek inside my head. My crazy, sleep deprived brain. The rambling conversations I have with myself that keep me awake at night.
I use my IPHONE. I walk around, rambling into it. Wondering around my property, neighborhood or wherever.
You hear everything. My dogs, coyotes, crickets, birds. You hear unedited, life. You never know, who or what may interrupt?
I keep my opinions, emotions and my podcast, uncensored . I discuss politics, government, mental health, addiction, family, love, dog training, America…life. I talk things out. Working my life out in real time with an audience. Or at least, I HOPE?
Look, this is NOT a professional podcast. It’s poor quality. My intro and outdo music somehow, faded into the ether? I had both. Now they’re gone. This podcast is not for the faint of heart. If you need safe rooms, I may not be your gal?
You will either like it? Or not? I hope you like it? Only one way to find out…

Hello! In this episode I discuss, getting involved and educating yourself.
The mayor and politicians of our city decided that strong arming and bullying was the best route in getting their way? We, the citizens, should have been aware of what was going on beforehand. If we had educated ourselves and attended city counsel meetings, we would have been prepared.
I feel it is of the utmost importance to educate ourselves on what’s going on in our city, state and country. To educate ourselves on who we are dating, what company we work for, our religion, etc. If we don’t, we are vulnerable. We leave ourselves open to unwanted surprises.
I also discuss being secure and standing up for ourselves. To walk tall and not apologize for things you didn’t do. Stand tall and firm. Do NOT allow others to take away your power. Don’t give them that credit or control.
Hello and welcome to another episode of The Ramblings of an Insomniac. I am Courtney. Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to everybody out there. I hope everybody got sleep last night. I hope nothing has been preventing you from getting any sleep. My goodness, I have to say, I have been sleeping a lot today, during the day. I um I've been getting like a million cat naps today. It's crazy. And that is not like me. Um I've always been able to sleep during the day. If I'm gonna sleep, I can sleep during the day. I've talked about this many, many times, so I won't bore people that have already heard this, but um I sleep far better during the day. But today, oh my gosh, I'm making up for all the sleep I have not been getting at night, and I have like slept the freaking day away, but it's okay. I needed it. I had to listen to my body. People need to learn to listen to their bodies, you know. A lot of times we we dismiss it and we don't want to be a hypochondriac, because of course there are extremes. You don't want to think every teeny tiny little thing means you're dying of cancer, you know. But at the same time, your body does talk to you. I feel that your body really does let you know when something's going on, and we need to learn to listen to it. And no shame on men, but I feel like women tend to be a little more in tune with their bodies. And I and I say no shame to men because I think that we're built to be that way. I think we're supposed to be able to be more in tune with our bodies because we are capable of um giving birth. We're capable of having a human develop inside of us, and we have, you know, we menstruate. And sorry to be graphic. I know, guys, you don't want to hear that. Don't worry, I'm not gonna go into detail. But point being, we're built to listen to ourselves. Our bodies do talk to us, and I know that sounds hippy-dippy, but I don't feel it is. I feel if more of us listened to our bodies, we maybe, you know, wouldn't get as sick. Maybe we could catch illnesses a lot sooner. And of course, I'm not blaming people for not catching their illnesses because I understand, again, we don't we also don't want to look like hypochondriacs. And if we don't have insurance and you can't afford to go to the doctor, or let's say your doctor is booked out until eternity, so you have to like go to the ER um just to get care. Well, of course you're not gonna want to go over every little twinge, you know. So it's balance, it's always balance. I feel like everything in life, everything, every single thing in life is balanced. You don't want to be too extreme. I think there's even such a thing as extreme love, you know, extreme love bombing, extreme, you know, hover moms, you know. I've been a hover mom. You know, there is such a thing as as smothering, there is such a thing as being too kind because you don't want to get walked over. You don't want to be a pushover, you know. Gosh, I'm sorry you guys, I did it again. I said hello, good afternoon, and then I just went straight into my podcast. Oh my gosh, let me take a step back for a second and say, guess what? I'm so excited. I have made it to 10,000 downloads. Well, woo! 10,000 freaking downloads. I am so ecstatic. I cannot even tell you. And those 10,000 downloads are from you guys. You guys took your time, your energy, time out of your day when you could have listened to so many other podcasts, and you decided to give mine a chance. My silly podcast that my intro and outro has been gone for years now, and it's recorded on my cell phone. So it's it's not edited. You hear all kinds, like right now, you might hear the refrigerator in the background. Um, you might hear the dog licking its butt next to me. That's always, I mean, that's what you guys want to hear, right? A dog um going to town licking their ass. That's always what you want to hear on a podcast, right? The soothing sounds of a dog licking themselves. Um, but yet you tolerate it. And not only tolerate it, but I have people that come back for more that listen to not one, but two or all of my episodes. So you freaking rock. Thank you, thank you, thank you. There are people from Singapore, from Japan. Japan's coming in hot lately. Russia, what up, Russia? I have been, um, like I said, I am so obsessed with the Russian language. I just find it sexy as hell and German. And people are like German and Russian. I do, and I'm very sorry, but I don't find French or um Spanish sexy. I'm not hating on your language because I don't find, I don't think we sound, I don't think English sounds sexy. So I'm hating on my own language as well. Um I'm just saying, to me, and you guys, I'm sure that 90% of the population, which the Russians are like, hey, but a lot of people don't find Russian or German um accents or the language sexy or cool or you know, whatever. And I do. I love it. I love that back of the throat kind of thing. I don't know. And to me, Spanish, I do not, and French I find and Italian, all of those like kind of Latin influenced, I just I'm not a fan. I'm sorry. I think I'm just not a fan. I'm not saying I'm not a fan of the people. Again, like when I go off on the government of France, when I go off of who is, you know, in charge and leading France and the UK, it doesn't mean that I dislike the people that live in those countries. I always try to make sure that that's understood. I'm not hating on the people, I'm hating on how their country is being ran. And those that support, um, I guess I am kind of, I wouldn't say hating on, but I'm disagreeing with, I'm opposed to how those countries are being ran. I don't like how the UK is being ran, I don't like how France is being ran. Um, I don't like how Australia and Spain and Canada are being ran. So, and there are times that I haven't liked how um America is being ran, like when Biden was in office. I don't like how Oregon, Washington, and California are being ran, or any of our liberal states, to be honest. I don't like how any of them are being ran. So the point being, like I've said a million times, when I talk about um groups of people, I am I'm still working on this whole thing where I'm not trying to say all Democrats or all liberals or all Republicans or all, you know, X group of people. Um because I have many friends that are Democrats and I love them dearly. And I have people that I disagree with about many things, but there are more things that we do agree on and we just focus on those. So one of those things that's been happening locally, um, I won't mention the city I'm in, but it's it's very frustrating when you live in a smaller town and there are city council meetings, and I mean this for myself. I'm talking about me because I haven't gone to a single city council meeting in any of the cities I have lived in, none of them. And I'm 52, and I have not gone to a single city council meeting, and so that's shameful because I bitch about stuff all the time, but I do vote, so I always figure, well, I have a right because I do vote on ballots and you know I vote on measures and things like that. So I figure, okay, I can vote bitch. However, I don't go to city council meetings, and I should because they're important. So the short version, and I'm going to post this on my Facebook page, so you guys can check my Facebook page for this on Ramblings of an Insomniac, but I'm gonna post the article that one of the retired city council um members from the city um wrote. And he wrote an article, and because they recently decided, the city decided that they were going to close and put gigantic fences around all of the parks, including the dog parks, including the main river park, which is used a lot by everybody. It's the center of the city, everybody uses it. They have movies, they have um concerts, they have all kinds of things that go on, and people use it just to play in, and it's on the river. And there's a river walk, and they close that, and they close the dog park. And there are apartment complexes and places that you know all around the park, and people use that to take their dogs on walks. And now people had nowhere to take their dogs, and there is a hotel right on the river with the river walk, and there is also an apartment complex, two of them right there, and they could no longer um, you know, they had to pay extra money for rent to be on the river, to have those amenities next to them, to be right next to the park, to be on the river and at a riverwalk. And they all of a sudden, and they pay taxes on those things, and all of a sudden the city decides to put up gigantic monstrosity of gates, of fencing, of fencing, and close off the dog park and the main river and the river walk. And they tried to close the library. They closed the museum, they didn't close the library because they're trying to, they're actively trying to, but it takes a lot more work to close down a library. Um, and then they closed down the museum and all the other parks in independence as a bully tactic to strong arm people into paying more taxes because they're like, oh, you know what? We mismanaged our funds. Oops, we don't know how to balance a budget. We did not budget correctly, and oops, we laid off a lot of people and then we gave raises to ourselves, and we hired other people and gave them raises, and we also budgeted for um development and future, future water sites, future sewer sites, future planning and development, and in the last 10 years, nobody has moved here. So they're still paying for engineers and sewage and all these things that one person has moved here and they're still paying people. So instead of you know going through the budget and cutting out things like, you know what, we don't need an engineer right now. There are many things that we don't need. And hey, why did we give government and city officials raises? So they gave themselves raises and they gave themselves promotions and they decided that they were going to uh let go of other staff, but then hire staff within their. It was just a whole thing. They mismanaged, they did not balance their budget, and they're advertising this when they put up huge fences all over, and they're like, oh, we don't have the money. We don't have the money to pay for the upkeep of these parks anymore. Well, now, right before the mayor is being elected, she's A, using strong arm tactics by saying, Oh, we're just gonna make it where all these citizens, these taxpaying citizens, can't use their main park or any of their parks, and we're gonna use it as a bully tactic to where you guys can no longer use your parks again and strong arming you into paying, by the way, $29.99. So $30 extra a month per resident. $30 a month extra per resident. People are gonna go, well, $30 extra isn't a lot. Yes, it is. To a lot of people, that's gas money, that's that is a lot to a lot of people, and it's a lot when they don't owe it. It was a mismanagement of funding. They they had plenty, they just mismanaged their money. And because they can't seem to balance their budget correctly, and they decided, oh, we're gonna have these funds, surely the the taxpayers will agree to pay these taxes. So they pretended that the taxpayers were gonna say yes. They pretended that they had the money, but they didn't actually have the money, and then they decided to go ahead with the budget as if they had money that no one even voted on. So no one voted on it. And the the mayor decided that she was gonna throw up a bunch of fences when also no one voted against it either. They hadn't even voted on it yet. So the ex-city manager was like, hey, let's put this up for a vote. You don't get to just close our parks. This needs to go to a vote. And they were like, Well, in the meantime, we don't have money to run these parks. So, in the meantime, before you guys vote on it, we're gonna close it. And it's like, no, no, no, you haven't even we haven't voted it down yet either. But they wanted to bully us and say, see, see, this is what it's gonna look like if you don't vote this way, and that's a bunch of horse shit. And how do you think that's gonna look for the mayor and these city council members? And people are blamed it on the previous city council meter uh member, uh excuse me, the city manager. They blamed it on previous city managers, and it's like, no, no, no. He there's a lot more to it than that. Again, things are not always black and white and cut and dry. And he wrote an Achved and explained the entire thing, which the people in independence, the residents of independence, deserved for um this to be transparent and have things explained as to why the hell they shut down the parks, where all the money went. They needed to be transparent and show everybody where the money went, why it was so off-budget, why they no longer had the money to fund it when they've always had the money before. I get that there's inflation and all of that, but why? Why did they mismanage it? Well, boy, did they find out? Because again, the ex-city manager was like, hey, hey, hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, you don't get to blame this on me. No, no, no, no, no, no. And also, this shows why city council meetings are so, so important to go to. It is very important to go to those because they've been talking about this for a long time, but no one was going to the meetings. And then once it actually happened, people were like, hey, myself included, I no longer live in this city. I didn't know it was going on until I drove by and saw that it was closed. And I was like, what in the hell? And then I started digging. But that happens a lot. We don't know what's going on until we start digging. Because people are not always honest, people do not always tell us what's going on, especially politicians. And in your own city, stuff like this could be going on and you won't know it. And then when it finally happens, people are like, what? And it's our fault because we should have gone to the um to the meetings. We should get involved. We do need to get involved, and we need to be educated. We can't bury our heads in the sand and pretend that everything's hunky-dory and not know what's going on. You know, we need to be informed. It's always good to be informed on anything, not just politics on anything. We should always be informed on what job we're gonna take. Maybe look at the company, see if the company's a good company, see if they have a history of laying people off, of firing people, or you know, it's always good to inform, to educate yourself. We have far too many morons running around the earth. We don't need more idiots. We need educated people. Again, myself included, I don't live in independence anymore, so I didn't know this was going on, but I still should have because I love that park and I went to it all the time. And I find it frustrating that our politicians seem to always resort to fraud or lying or um bullying as tactics. And the former city manager wrote an ockbed about it saying the same thing that a community is a community. We are, especially when it's a smaller city that you live in. I don't know that big cities get that sense of community. Um, I'm I'm not saying they don't. I'm just saying I feel like, you know, maybe you get it more like neighborhoods, each neighborhood gets the sense of community, but I feel like huge cities, of course, aren't going to have that sense of community, whereas smaller cities do, and we rely on each other. And it's important for us to be good neighbors and look out for each other, especially when you're in a small area. It's important to know what our politicians are doing and why they are doing it, and to call them out on it if they're doing something that we don't like and be like, and remember that we do have a say. We absolutely have a say. I forget that in general. I forget that just in life. I'm I never want to say no to people, I don't ever want to disappoint anybody. Um, I can do it to a stranger, but even then I feel bad. I'm so tired of feeling bad, especially when I don't need to feel bad, when I didn't do a single thing wrong, and when I'm not the one that did anything wrong, but somehow I don't know why. I always freaking make excuses for people, even when they're the ones that wronged me. Even when they screw me over, I will still give people chance after chance. Because somehow I buy into them making me feel bad, and I have to remember they can't make me anything. I allow them, I allow other people to make me feel insecure or fat or ugly or feel like I am less than or worthless. And how dare we do that to ourselves? Why should we ever feel bad when we aren't the ones that screwed up or we aren't the ones that are violent and we're not the ones that are being jerks? Why do people get in this circle of like making excuses for other people? Our politicians in particular, they don't need excuses. They already get away with everything, and we allow it because we don't think that we're powerful enough to do anything about it. We forget that we have all of the power, we just need to take it back. And that's hard to do because it requires confidence and it requires education. And we don't all have that. I go through times where I don't have the confidence and I certainly am not educated enough, and so then I feel powerless or I feel insecure, and then I start doubting myself, and man, doubt can be just a that's a hard thing that can really wreak havoc on a person. And then if you have other people around you that are feeding into your insecurity because they're always, you know, telling you what a piece of crap you are, well, you know, or they're always lying, or they're always doing something behind your back, that can make you feel shitty. And when it's your own politicians or whatever, you're like, dang. And then we see videos of nurses that we're supposed to trust, and we're like, so I can't even go to the hospital, I can't even go to the doctor without worrying about a nurse. My goodness, I can't walk down the street wearing an article of clothing without worrying. I mean, come on. So I can't live that way. I have to just walk down the street confident, shoulders back, head high, and be like, look, I can't, I can't constantly feel bad and insecure and scared because that gives power to all the shitty people. And I don't want the shitty people to have power. I don't want them to have feel like they get to control my emotions and control me and what I think and what I do. Why? Why the heck am I allowing someone else to make me feel less than? Especially more often than not. We allow others that actually are less than us. Meaning maybe they are liars, maybe they are losers themselves, maybe they are truly evil, shitty people, maybe they're lazy, whatever it is, they're more often than not, the people picking on you and the people trying to make you feel like crap or the people doing things behind your back or cheating or whatever, are they know that they're pieces of crap, they know that they're not as good as you. And so why are we allowing these people to control us? That's letting them win. And man, I already feel like evil wins a lot. We cannot give in that power, and it really starts with us. We have to be confident in ourselves. We have to walk tall, we have to stand tall and know what. When to push a little harder. Know when to not take no for an answer. Know when to not sit down when someone tells you to. Be like, no, actually, I'm gonna stand right here. I'm standing right here and I'm not going to move. Thanks very much. We don't have to be violent. I'm not saying we need to be violent. I'm just saying that we cannot give power to people that do not deserve it and um are probably insecure themselves and they're just projecting all of their baloney onto us. And politicians, you know, it's really hard not to be scared of politicians because they pull all of the strings. You know, the IRS gets to get away with effing everything, with everything. And we feel powerless because how are we going to stand up to the government? It's huge, it's powerful, but that's why we have to start at the bottom. We have to start at city council meetings. It starts within our city. And then you, you know, work your way up with our state representative. And it's important that we hire, and I say hire because they work for us, so vote on the correct people, the people that are gonna represent we the people, that are gonna represent what we actually want, what we ask for, that are going to, you know, despite if they agree or not, they're like, well, I may not agree with this, but the majority of the people in my state have hired me, voted for me to represent our state, and here's what we have to say. Here's what the state of Oregon has to say. So it's important that we vote. It's important that we vote for the correct people, and that we go to city council meetings and that we're educated on what the heck is going on around us. I went to a place in Virginia to do some dog training. And I wanted to look up the company because I was like, well, do I even want do I trust how they train dogs? What if I disagree completely on how they train dogs? What if they have terrible ratings? I think it's important that we do that. I think that if we're gonna work for a company, we should find out what that company is about. I think if we're gonna marry someone, we should look into them, see what that person's about. We should get to know them. If our kids are gonna go to a school, I realize we don't always have a say because you're assigned to a school depending on where you live, but it's still good to look into that school and look into what they're teaching, you know. Same with religion. People usually don't just hop into a religion, they check it out, they're like, what do they believe in exactly? Most of us, anyway. Vaccines, you know, vaccines, wearing masks, our health prescriptions. I would hope that people would look into you know vaccines and what they're for and and exactly everything about it so that we know what we're putting into our bodies. It's good to read labels on what's in stuff. I'm not saying you have to go crazy. Again, extremes are never good. Balance, balance, balance. That's all I'm saying. Uh, what else? So, um, weddings, I have been on this project runway and say yes to the dress kick. And it's funny because I think fashion is a bunch of hoo-ha, meaning it I nothing bothers me more than when people in the fashion industry act like their opinion is a fact. When they're like, this dress is blah blah blah. And I'm like, well, that's your opinion. Art is subjective, and fashion is very much subjective. So every single time they have these fashion shows, I'm like, there's only so many things that can be done. Everything's been done. All you're doing is just basically recycling everything from the past and putting a little slit in it or whatever, but everything really looks the same. Sorry, that's very loud. Everything looks the same, if you ask me, it just keeps getting recycled, and then they act like they're like know so much about it. And it's like all you're doing, though, is giving opinion, just like art, just like photography. I'm a photographer, I love, love, love art so much. I want a million pictures all over my wall. And same with photography. I love photography, but just because I take a picture and I think my picture is fantastic, or I think someone else's um photograph is fantastic, does not mean that that's a fact. That's not a truth. That's just an opinion. It's my opinion, it's very subjective. So these shows crack me up. However, because I love art, um, I look at things like Project Runway as art because I like how they put together the fabric and the different textiles they use, the different colors and the shapes and all of that. And I find that fascinating. And I like to see again how people's minds work and what makes them create what they create and what background they come from that made them want to be a designer. So for me, it's like a big um sociology show because they're in these groups and how they interact with each other too is fascinating. And so, and then say yes to the dress. I don't know what my problem is. I do not like public displays of affection. I do not hold hands in public, I don't kiss in public, I'm not really a coochie koo kind of person at all. Um, and I am not really the most like romantic person at all. Um, but I seriously, I have problems when it comes to weddings. I really do. I cry my eyeballs out over weddings that are on freaking TV that are not even real. I've said this on many episodes, but I have a problem. Like, I I love weddings. I love weddings because I love the idea. I think my relationships have always been so fucked up and so bad that I just sit there and I look at people that are truly in love, and I'm like, oh my God. Like, look at them. They look at each other with such actual trust and love, and there's stability there, and there's just that trust, that mutual, genuine love and respect. You know, you can just see it. And I'm just like, oh it just it, I think I love them so much because I'm like, man, I've made so many bad decisions that I I want to know that deep, deep trust. I want to feel that. I want to know what it feels like to have that stability, that respect, you know, that safety. And when they look at each other and it's just like, aww. And yet it's funny because I don't want people, I've been married, and I um, you know, we got married unfortunately for the wrong reasons, and um, and I still care about him very much. He's the father of my children, but we didn't unfortunately get married for the right reasons, and so I just feel like I missed that opportunity, and I feel like you kind of only get it once. And um, as much as I don't want people to look at me and I don't want people to like have all eyes on me, and I don't necessarily want a wedding because I don't really like people focusing on me, I would maybe want just a reception where we could just party. Um, but I still, oh my God, I'm such a freaking sucker. And so say yes to the dress. Again, I find it fascinating to hear people's stories, how they met each other, and like when they bring their entourage, like the different personalities, and just how it affects them when someone doesn't like their dress, for example, which really pisses me off, by the way. You don't go with your sister or your, you know, let's say you're a maid of honor or you're a bridesmaid or you're a family member, and you know, you're going to go pick out, help, you know, pick out a wedding dress. I'm sorry, but if the person that's getting married, if the bride, if the bride falls in love with a dress, you tell her that it looks beautiful on her. Now, I'm sorry, unless she's someone who genuinely, genuinely wants like hard critiques. If you see her crying and feeling really confident and good in a wedding dress, how dare people? I just find it horrible when people are like, ow, you like that? Oh. And they do that face. And then the bride's like, you don't like it? Especially when a mom does it, you know. It's or like a jealous person. I feel like it's always these jealous bridesmaids or jealous siblings that maybe aren't married and they're jealous. And could I say that word one more time? Maybe they're jealous, or maybe they're not, maybe they just think that they are doing, you know, maybe they're just trying to be honest and they're like, look, they want me to be honest. But there's a time when you got to read the room. I think there's a time for honesty, and you can say it in a way that if you can tell maybe she's kind of not sure about the dress and she doesn't necessarily like it a whole lot. Okay, maybe be honest with her and be like, you know, let's try some more dresses on. That's not really, I feel like, you know, other ones might be better. Let's try more on. I could see that. I get it if, you know, she's kind of not sure or not necessarily in love. But if you see that she's freaking crying and feeling good in it, you tell her she looks great. It's like that episode on Big Bang, on Big Bang Theory, where Amy tries on all these dresses and then she tries on the third dress and it looks like a big, as Sheldon says, like a big swan, like a bunch of swans or whatever. And it is, I think it's hideous. I think it's absolutely hideous. But she genuinely loved it. She lit up, she felt fantastic in it. When a bride feels fantastic in something, don't tell her she looks bad. What a shitty thing to do. But I find the show fascinating because of that. I like the psychology of people and how they interact and what they say. And it's the same reason why I like staring in people's houses. I'm sorry, I'm a voyeur. I like looking in people's windows. I've talked about this in many episodes, so if this is a shock to you, hi, my name is Courtney and I'm a peeping tom. I am, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna look through your cupboards at all. If I am in your home, I'm the most respectful person and I will never ever touch anything. I don't look through cupboards. I am the most, I mean, I am so private as in, I respect privacy. But I'm sorry, if I'm outside of your house and you have your curtains open, not only will I look in, but I will hope and pray to God that you're doing something juicy and that you have I'll like slow down if I'm walking. Because, again, not because I'm a perv, you guys, I'm not a perv. It's because I'm fascinated. I'm fascinated by how you decorate your house. What kind of artwork do you have? What are you watching on TV? What are you doing? Like I'm just fascinated by people. I think people are just assholes and pieces of shit, but I also think they're kind and loving and funny and wonderful. And so I'm just enamored by people. And I sorry, if I could get away with sitting in a tree and watching you, I probably would. Again, not because I'm being a perv. I just think reality, this is why I love documentaries and I can't stand fictional books. Or I'm not a fan of, I've said this 10,000 times. I don't like things like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, and just I'm not a fantasy person. I can't wrap my head around fantasy. I'm way too analytical. I'm too logical. I dissect things far too much to like fantasy and and make believe. I'm just not into it. Um, I like nonfiction, I like documentaries, I like reality. Um, I like tangible things that I can touch and feel and that I know exist. Whenever I watch magic, all I do is go, it's magic, it's not real. And then I tried to dissect, dissect how it worked. David Blaine is the only magician in the entire face of the world. David Blaine, only magician, that I'm fascinated by. Him, I'm like, whoa, I think you're truly fucking magic. You baffle me. I think you're magic. Everybody else, I just sit there and go, oh, and I try to dissect what they're doing, and I look at it like a science. I just have too much of a science analytical brain to I I get bored with fantasy, which sounds backwards, but I do. I can't help it. Anyway, um, what else? I think that's all. I just have to say, I 10,000 downloads, you guys. That is kick ass. That is amazing. I am so, so grateful. And again, everybody from all these countries, I mean, wow, how amazing that anybody outside of America has ever even heard of me. And I don't know how because I don't do any advertising. So, this is all the more reason why. I hope you guys check out my YouTube, my clapper, my Facebook, my TikTok, and my Instagram. Please check those out. Like and subscribe. Um, and remember to oh, imperfect! I forgot to talk about it. You guys probably were like, oh, is this gonna be the episode that she does not talk about being perfect? I don't know how to tie it in now though. Now I don't know how to like what's a good segue. Oh, I wasn't perfect. See how I was not perfect, and I forgot to talk about being imperfect. Ha ha! How do you like that? That's kind of a cheat. It's a little bit of a cheat. Usually I try to really tie it all in and make it smooth. That was a little bumpy. That was definitely just interjected for the sake of putting it in to say that I've done it. But because I'm not a perfect person and all of us are imperfect humans, I almost forgot. I know this is cheating, you guys, but you know, I said I would I said I would mention that in every episode, so I had to get it in there. Next time I won't be so sloppy. Anyway, remember to control what you can and breathe in through your nose. Sorry, you can probably hear the floor creaking. I'm doing my pacing thing. Um, breathe in through your nose. And breathe out through your mouth slowly. Remember to control what you can and let go of all the other nonsense. Just shake it off. As much as I don't like Taylor Swift, I like the idea of that song, and it's pretty catchy. So shake it off. Shake it off. Because that's what you have to do. If you keep all of that shit on you all the time, you're going to be like me, and you're gonna have a boatload of wrinkles, and you are going to age yourself, and you are gonna give yourself insomnia and stress and all kinds of just not good things are gonna come from it. You're gonna age yourself and you're gonna give yourself health issues. So don't do it. Shake it off. Shake all the stuff you can't control. Remember to breathe and uh listen to my podcast. Thank you so much. Until next time.
