Episode #21

Libby Westphal is a native of Sperryville, Virginia. She now resides in her private retreat with her loving husband and son in Leesburg. Growing up in the suburbs of Washington D.C., Libby quickly developed a love for the small-town life. She takes pride in being a United States Air Force Veteran and an avid community volunteer. Being a mother, wife, sister, and veteran does not overshadow Libby as a true fighter. Libby has endured over 12 surgeries and 3 months of tough chemotherapy to battle ovarian cancer. She did not let the life changing battle define her. Libby knew that she needed to secure her future with her son. She made a commitment to choose life and fitness as her “beacon of hope.” This choice did not come easy, but determination prevailed. Her family, personal accountability, and goal setting has kept her on track.

Over time, she has developed a passion for health and fitness. Her newfound devotion led her to a successful journey to lose 70-pounds and go down 10 sizes. She is fully committed to her new lifestyle and in return has become one of the Top National Physique Committee (NPC) Competitors. Her proven experience has created a path for her to become a Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a Certified Aging & Women’s Health Specialist. Libby has started her own training and lifestyle company named “110% FIT”, while being crowned Transcontinental Mrs. USA in 2019. Libby has made appearances at the Virginia Women’s Business Conference, The American Cancer Society Survivor’s Luncheon, and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.

Through it all, she has had the same mission in mind; inspire others towards change and personal growth. She shamelessly believes in motivating others to live a healthy lifestyle. She finds great pleasure in sharing her journey to inspire, motivate and transform others. She embodies her personal mantra, “Become the Victor in life and not the Victim” ~Libby Westphal~
