Photography Explained Podcast
The next Photography Explained Podcast episode is on Friday, not today
Hi, Rick here. No podcast episode today. No, I have moved to Friday publishing, so not long now…. Sorry that is a bit over the top isn’t it?
Anyway on Friday a splendid new episode of the Photography Explained Podcast, “What Does The Future Of Photography Look Like?”
This is the new, longer format. Much better too. Even if I say so myself. And I enjoyed writing and recording this episode, it turns out I had rather a lot to say! And I hope you enjoy this episode too.

Here are a couple of extracts
“Image quality
Cameras have larger sensors than phones. And that will probably always be the case. Camera sensors improve year on year, but we seem to have settled down on the megapixel race. Better sensors give higher image quality, and with the advances in technology give photographers more options for taking better photos.”

Which lead me to a big thought
“Good enough
How good do photos need to be? Do we need high quality, “professional photos”. Yes I am using air quotes here. It depends. Good enough now can be photos taken with a phone. And if photos taken with a phone can be good enough now, then they will be more so in the future, as phones and the tech within them develops and improves even more.”

Yep this is the kind of stuff that I am talking about.
But, if there is a 10-20 minute gap in your life that you need to fill while you wait for the next episode, just head over to the Photography Explained Podcast website, which you can find at photographyexplainedpodcast.com/start. I know, how do I come up with this stuff!
There you can find all the episodes, scripts and you can also find out more about my small but perfectly formed podcast (it says here).
And my podcast is available to listen to and download on all major podcast providers. If it is not on your podcast provider of choice please let me know.
I would like to suggest another three of the more popular episodes to you which you might want to check out, which could nicely fill that gap until Friday.
