As Americans settle ever farther from urban centers, they significantly increase their carbon footprint and denigrate once-cherished pillars of community. In this episode, famed broadcast journalist Ray Suarez chats with Brian about the often-overlooked externalities of suburbanization and how an obsession with GDP growth is driving the trend.
